Sweetbrooke at Blue

Last night, a random series of events landed me at Blue, a very cool clothing store here in Bend, OR. I met the owner, Sheareen, who is very cool, and has good energy flowing out in every direction. She graciously set me up, and now Sweetbrooke is available at her store. Blue is located at 1326 NW Galveston, Bend OR 97701. The store is great, very hip and stylish gear, plus it's priced so well. I love stores that have FAIR pricing. It must bring her lots of good karma :)

Here is a picture of a new creation, it's a charm necklace. The metal discs are slightly domed, and a little bead hangs in the balance. Dainty and sweet for those momma's out there :)

Lost Wax Casting Class

I started my first "real" jewelry design class at COCC thru the community education program. It's a lost wax casting class. The first thing I am going to try making is a ring! I am really excited to see the whole process.

Jewelry Show

Last night was the first Sweetbrooke Jewelry Show. It went really well, I sold some things, met some really cool people, and loved how everything looked all set up. Tonight, I am going to try to get jewelry pic's up on the blog.

Thank you to Terra, my sister in law who helped with all of the graphic design, logo, pictures, selling, pretty much everything! Trevin, my husband made all of my displays. Sheila, my good friend, and who is my number one fan, and helped at the booth! Traci for giving me an oppurtunity to show Sweetbrooke, and Cindy for passing on my name and being our biggest sale yet!

Summit High School Event 2.3.09

SweetBrooke Designs will be a vendor at the Bend Athletic Club on Feb. 3rd, 2009 from 4-8pm. This is a fundraiser for Summit High School, and includes a silent auction. This is the first real SweetBrooke event, so wish us luck ;) I'll try to get some pictures up of the jewelry after we finish creating.
